Poynton Valves, Admin/Bookkeeping role

Poynton Valves Ltd in Macclesfield have a vacancy for an Admin/Bookkeeping role.

Monday – Thursday - 10.00am - 3.00pm

Salary : £22,000 per annum pro rata

Administrative tasks include answering the telephone, filing, processing sales and purchase orders using SAGE accounts. Arranging overseas shipments, booking carriers and assisting the Sales team with daily processes to ensure the smooth running of the office.

Bookkeeping is necessary to this role and would consist of processing Sales and purchase orders, daily banking, Payroll Sage 50, VAT returns and monthly management reports. Also assisting the Director with any financial/office practices that are necessary to the business.

The requirements for this role are:

Essential – SAGE 50 accounts

Knowledge of Excel, Microsoft 365 and Outlook.

This role would suit a candidate who is able to work on their own, pro-active, be able to multi-task and be well organised.
