Based on the Macclesfield canal in the rolling Cheshire countryside at the edge of the Peak District, Braidbar Boats have been building some of the best narrowboats at the historic Lord Vernon's Wharf for nearly 40 years. Braidbar builds a number of luxury custom narrowboats each year and have now built more than 195 narrowboats. With the combined talents of our craftsmen we take great pride in producing bespoke boats that are unique in their own right.

We sincerely encourage you, as a prospective narrowboat owner to come and visit us, to see how we work and to discuss your ideas. A boat is often a once in a lifetime acquisition and determining which team you want to build your boat is an important choice.
